Role Duties
As a relationship officer, your key responsibilities are as follows:
- Build and keep strong working relationships with corporate clients.
- Make sure customers are happy, and deal with their questions or concerns as they come up.
- Spot chances to sell more products or services to clients the company already works with.
- Work with other departments so that clients get their products on time.
- Put together regular reports on sales activity and performance, and present them.
- Keep up with industry trends and what’s happening in the market.
- Hit your sales targets and help the company grow.
Requirements for the Role of Relationship Officer
- Applicant must have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a closely related discipline.
- He or she must be experienced in sales or customer relationship management.
- Having a minimum of six (6) years of relevant sales experience is a great advantage.
- Strong communication and people management skills is mandatory.
- Candidate must be grounded in negotiation and problem-solving.
- Should be able to cultivate and maintain good client relationships.
- Must be one with high self-motivation and result driven,
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office packages like Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
