Job Description

The ANRML graduate trainee program 2026 is aimed at engineering graduates who are eager for the right environment to gain hands-on experience working in a mining and mineral processing plant.

According to the convener African Natural Resources and Mines Limited (ANRML), the program can accumulate all engineering graduates i.e. mechanical, electrical and chemical etc. with little to no work experience.

Quick Overview of the Company

The African Natural Resources and Mines Limited (ANRML) is a group company of African Industries Group (AIG) that set up integrated iron ore mining and processing plant in Gujeni village, Kagarko LGA, Kaduna State.

At the plant, iron ore is mined and then processed into Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) through beneficiation and pelletizing. DRI is used as a raw material in steel production in Nigeria.

Taking part in the ANRML graduate trainee program as an engineering graduate means understanding how to work with heavy plant equipment in a real production setting.

Responsibilities of ANRML Graduate Engineer Trainees

Throughout the program, the trainees would be expected to:

• Take part in structured on-the-job training across the mechanical and electrical sections.
• Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment.
• Support the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Learn and apply company engineering standards, safety rules and operating procedures.
• Prepare and present reports on assigned tasks and learning progress.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.

Requirements for ANRML Graduate Trainee Program 2026

• Prospectiveapplicant must have either a B.Eng, B.Tech or HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
• Both fresh graduates and those with maximum of two (2) years relevant work experience can apply.
• Applicant must have the willingness to learn in a practical, industrial setting.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or maintenance software.
