Job Responsibilities

1. Application Security Specialist: You shall will continuous be on the lookout for security holds and ensure they get fixed. This includes web applications, mobile apps, APIs, running pen tests, code reviews and internal systems while guiding developers toward writing safe code from the start.

2. Database Security Specialist: Your responsibilities shall include set up and maintenance of security controls, observing who has access and flagging unusual activity. You will be on the watch out for vulnerabilities, encryption and data mask efforts.

3. Digital Forensics Specialist: Main responsibilities get across digital investigations, evidence preservation, incident support, malware analysis, reporting and regulatory support. This means digging into cybersecurity incidents, fraud, system misuse and possible policy violations etc.

4. Technology / IT Auditor: Auditor shall review existing and emerging systems, infrastructure, and security controls to ascertain real risk and whether the controls in place are efficient/strong enough. In other words, the responsibility of this role gets across IT audit execution, risk assessment, control evaluation, regulatory compliance and audit reporting etc.

5. Incident Management & Response Specialist: You will run point on cybersecurity incidents right from when they’re spotted until fully resolved. Assist in handling the damage, clean it up and get all affected systems back to normal. Your duties shall get across incident response, investigation & analysis, containment & recover, monitoring, coordination and reporting etc.

6. Threat Intelligence Management Specialist: Your major responsibility shall be to ensure the bank stays ahead of possible threats by pulling intelligence from multiple sources, track how the threat evolves and ascertain what is really relevant or just noise.

7. MSC Internal Communications & Content Management: Your responsibility shall be to ensure at least 75% of the bank staff truly understand the strategy, products and initiatives available. You shall turn complex corporate strategies into understandable messages and disseminate across staff groups.

Requirements for First Bank Recruitment 2026

1. MSC Internal Communications & Content Management

• Persons interested in this position must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Social Science.
• Must have at least five (5) years of relevant work experience.
• Must know how to use Microsoft word, PowerPoint and Excel very well.
• Strong communication skills and understanding of Customer Service relationship management.

2. Threat Intelligence Management Specialist

• Applicant must have first degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a closely related discipline.
• Candidate must have at least five (5) years’ experience in Threat Intelligence or a closely related area.
• Must have clear understanding of how cyber threats works and emerging attach techniques.
• Professional certifications like CTIA, CISSP, CEH, GCTI or CISM is an added advantage.

3. Incident Management & Response Specialist

• Prospective applicant must have B.Sc. or equating qualification in Cybersecurity or a related course.
• Experience in handling cybersecurity incidents and responses for at least five (5) years if pivotal.
• Other qualification like GCIH, CISSP, CEH, CISM is a plus.

4. Technology / IT Auditor

• Suitable for candidates with B.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT or Accounting etc.
• An accumulate work experience of at least five (5) years relevant to this role is needed.
• CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or CISM certifications are an added advantage.
